Morecambe Bay Archers are a friendly club located near the picturesque Morecambe Bay, shooting at Warton Cricket Club in the summer, and Dallam Outdoors in Heversham over winter.
We have members shooting all bow styles, and are mainly a target club, but do have a small group that shoot Field and Clout.
All archers are welcome to shoot with us! Our focus is enjoying our shooting, regardless of ability, and our coaches and senior archers are always happy to help.
If you are looking to return to archery, join us having moved to the area, or have never shot a bow in your life and would like to potentially take up the sport, please look around the site and get in touch.
We meet throughout the year at our outdoor ranges, and have use of excellent indoor facilities during the winter months.

Monday – Warton Cricket Club – 17.00 till late
Wednesday – Warton Cricket Club – 17.00 till late
Sunday – Warton Cricket Club – 9.00 till 12.00 (possible to stay later)
Indoor season (October – March)
Tuesday – Dallam High School (Heversham Campus) – 18.00 – 20.00
Thursday – Dallam High School (Heversham Campus) – 18.00 – 20.00
Sunday – Warton Cricket Club – 9.00 till 12.00 (possible to stay later)
Joining Morecambe Bay Archers
To join MBA as an existing or returning archer, or completing a Beginners course elsewhere, you’ll need to arrange to attend a session with a club coach to go through range safety. If coming off a Beginners course elsewhere, please bring your certificate.
If you’re wanting to take up archery, you’ll need to complete a Beginners course. Please see the Beginners course page for more information on this.
After attending an initial session with a club coach, you’ll need to have paid affiliation and club fees before you can continue shooting with us.
